Thursday12/04/08- Periods 2-6 Rough Bibliography due ( 7 sources at least 2 of hich need to be books). May be handwritten, but needs to be in alphabetical order. Everyone turns in independently.
Friday 12/5/08 Periods 3-7 Finish creating questions from the chapter, if needed.

Monday 01/05/09-6th grade- Define the vocabulary words for Chapter 8 (Ancient Rome) 7th grade- define the vocabulary words for Chapter 17, sections 1 & 2 only. (North Africa)8th grade p. 196 #2-5, and p. 205 # 2-5. (US Constitution)
Tuesday 01/06/09- 6th grade p. 267 #1-5, p. 276 # 1-6, 7th grade- p. 488 # 2-7, p. 489 read and answer the 3 questions under "making the connnection" 8th grade-complete worksheet over Chapter 7.
Wednesday 01/07/09- 6th & 7th grade- review vocabulary words for quiz on Friday. 8th grade- quiz over Chapter 7 on Friday. Please keep in mind that notebooks are due next week!
Thursday 01/08/09- for everyone- study for quiz tomorrow!!! Also for periods 2-6, remember that your 2nd check of history fair notes are due tomorrow (independently turned in). Notebooks are due next week- 6th grade- Wednesday, 7th grade- Thursday, 8th grade- Friday.

Rough bibliography (list of at least 7 sources- 2 of which are books)- Dec. 5th
Please make sure that you note the difference between primary and secondary sources
Final Thesis statement: Jan. 7th
Notes and/or rough draft of paper: 1st check: Dec. 18th
2nd check: Jan. 9th
3rd check: Jan. 22nd
4th check: Feb. 6th
It is expected that progress is made for each date.
Second check of sources: Jan. 15th
(for this check, there should be at least 12 sources, 4 of which are books)
Final project due: Feb. 24th
If you have any questions concerning due dates, or anything else, please ask! Also, please remember, if working in a group, you cannot change group members after Christmas break! You also cannot change your topic after Christmas break.
DO NOT PROCRASTINATE !!! Keep this timeline of due dates in a safe place, and look at it constantly! Remember every date is entered in as an assignment counting towards your grade, do not miss a due date.
Also please remember that no late work will be accepted unless it is due to an excused absence.
