Welcome to Ms. Muench's web page. This year we will be learning a lot of information to help us with our grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, main idea, details, expository and persuasive writing  and many more skills will be practiced to help you prepare  for the infamous FCAT test.

So far this year has gone smoothly. We are going to be making data folders that will contain information on your child's hopeful gains that they will be making throughout the year.

Monday, May 18 , we are going to be starting a new story in our literature book called, "Future Tense" on page 770. The students will  copy their vocabulary words and become familiar with the genre of Science Fiction.

Tuesday we are listening to the story, and the homework is to answer the questions on page 781.

Wednesday we are having a comprehension , vocabulary and spelling test based on this story.

Thursday we are doing Reading Skills practice worksheet 121,122  and Interactive Reading worksheet 123,124.

Friday we are doing a creative picture writing.

 Our  4th period class began a pen pal program with students in Tanzania, Africa. We are STILL looking forward to hearing from them.
