*****Instrument Rental Night is Thursday Sept 13th, parents of students needing to rent instruments or buy mouthpieces can do it this evening.  What better way then to have the music store come to you!! They will also have the book we will be playing out of there as well for you to purchase.

Thursday, Aug 23 and Friday, Aug 24, Estero High School Band members and their director, Mr.Mark Gurnow, will be coming over to demonstrate their instruments for the 6th grade beginning band class. 

Tuesday Sept 4-Friday Sept 7 are the days your 6th grade band member will be auditioning on the band instruments. Mr.Gurnow will be auditioning brass and I will be doing the woodwinds.  Students will know by Monday Sept 10 what instrument they will be playing. 

To all students:  I am so happy to be here at BSMS!!! I look forward to doing many fun and exciting things with all of you!!

8th grade students:  We need to sit down and talk!!!!  We have some very important things that need to happen!!

       1. Band Officers( 8th grade students only)

       2. All County!! I can not stress the importance of getting BSMS known again! And you are going to   have to be the ones that have to do it!!

      3. Jazz Band: I do not think auditions were held, if not we will need to have open auditions and then after that process it will start on Tuesdays and Thursday 9:00-9:45 am

     4.  Handbells: If you are intrested in this fun group let me know. I am looking at scheduling this before jazz band on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30-:900.  You have to be able to make this time to participate!

7th grade students: We need to talk!! You will be taking the 8th graders place next year so I need you to be just as dedicated as them!!!

6th grade students: I am sooo excited to have all of you! I know we are going to have a wonderful year!!!
