IMPORTANT NOTES

Your child may bring a gift from their parents to open at our Christmas party.  The price range is 7 – 10 dollars.  I will let you know the date and time later.

Our goal of 40 AR books has been set for the second nine weeks. Your child has read __________ books.

Brieanna is our leader this week.   The leader may bring something in the estimation jar, bring a picture of themselves and one of their families, get somebody to read to us, do an activity or share something with us.  

High Frequency Words -many, things, day, water, are, you, become, some, always, now, there, they, stays, everything, nothing  (Your child will be tested on reading these words.)

Amazing Words - adult, bounce, crooked, handsome, healthy, measurement, shuffle, teeter   (Talk about the meaning of these words.  These are words that we are going to cover this week and amaze people when we start using them.)

Spelling words – my, by, try, any, body, fly, cry, lucky, silly, puppy, things, always  BONUS  December

Reading – vowel sound for “y” and all long vowel sounds
Math - Shapes
