Our Special Guest-
Welcome, Mrs. Lisa Terry! Mrs. Terry will be with us as a student teacher till the end of April. Mrs. Terry attends Athens State University and will graduate in May.
Testing-
Standardized Testing will begin next Tuesday. Eating breakfast on these days is important, but so is getting to bed early the night before. I have had students fall asleep during a test or come in irritable. These factors can influence how the students perform. All I’m asking is that each student does his/her best. I want these test results to adequately reflect what each student knows. The schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, April 1st- Alabama Reading and Math Test (ARMT): Math
Wednesday, April 2nd- ARMT: Reading
Thursday, April 3rd- Stanford Achievement Test 10 (SAT 10):
Reading and Vocabulary
Monday, April 7th- SAT 10: Math
Tuesday, April 8th- SAT 10: Language
Wednesday, April 9th- Otis Lennon School Abilities Test (OLSAT)
DIBELS-
We will be DIBELing later this month. Your student should be reading for FUN every night. I have a book I read every night before I go to bed. I know we send home passages every week, but this is not enough.
