Holiday-
Monday is a school holiday to observe Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Tests-
There will be no Spelling or Reading test on Friday. We will be review this week. A new unit will begin next Tuesday with tests being next Friday the 23rd.
Spelling and Reading-
There are no test in Reading and Spelling this week. Friday we will begin a new story and the tests for that story will be next Thursday.
AR Goals-
This nine weeks everyone who meets their goals will be able to attend the AR party on March 13th. Goals need to be met by March 11th. Students have also been strategically placed in teams. Instead of individual awards, teams will be awarded additionally for their achievement as a team. All members of the team must meet their goal to be considered for team awards. Encourage each other to READ!
Montgomery-
Student payments for $30 was due last Friday. The final installment is $29 due on February 6th. Parent payments of $153 are also due on that day. Parent payment checks are to be made out to LANDMARK TOURS NOT JULIAN HARRIS ELEMENTARY. Please remember you are going on this trip as a chaperone. You may be in a hotel room with other children besides your own.
