I am sorry this webpage has not been updated since the first of May. I am recovering from a fall and subsequent surgery as I have 3 broken bones in my ankle. I am not allowed to work for 6 weeks so am thankful that Mrs. Cofield has been able to take over my classes and I feel like she has done an excellent job. I have been involved in the lessons and want to include some important information for this last week of school. I am so disappointed that I am unable to complete the year.
6th grade
May 18- 22nd:
On Monday, planners will be collected. I will grade the last 3 weeks. The week of May 11-15th will count as a test grade. I will return planners on Tuesday to Mrs. Cofield and the students may get them then or wait until Wednesday's class.
On Wednesday, there will be a test. The test will come from the study guide that the students will get on Monday.
I will be at school on Thursday afternoon. I will call students to come and show me telebuddy lists that have not been turned in as well as a second chance to show me planners. (The telebuddy list was due on April 24th so the students who did not complete it on time will receive partial credit.
7th grade
May 18-22nd.
Planners were to be turned in on Friday. If a planner was not turned in please give it to Mrs. Cofield on Tuesday. The planners will be graded as a test grade for the week of the 11th-15th and and as a regular daily work grade for the previous week.
On Tuesday, students will go over their study guides that they were given last week. They will have their semester test on Thursday.
I will be at school on Thursday afternoon to finalize grades. I will call any students who "owe" any missing work at that time.
