Week of April 10-13, 2012

Students are responsible for finishing any incomplete classwork for homework.

Schedules for the Middle School are due on April 20, 2012.

Art Portfolios are due on April 20, 2012.

Showchoir Try-outs will be held on May 4, 2012.

Spring pictures will be taken on April 11, 2012.

Ice Cream Sundae party will be held on April 13, 2012.  Please bring your assigned food item or items.

Pizza Party for sixth grade program participants will be held on April 11, 2012.

Monday - Student Holiday

Tuesday - The students will work on vocab. cards for chapters 7 & 8 of the novel. The students will continue answering comp. questions for chapters 7 & 8 of the novel. The teacher will review adverbs with the students. The students will work pages 416, 418, 490, & 491 with the help of the teacher.

Wednesday - The students will answer an MCT2 review sheet. The students will answer a test on relative pronouns, adjective clauses, and essential and non-essential clauses. The students will work on completing comp. questions and vocab. cards, which are due on Thursday.

Thursday - The students will answer an MCT2 review sheet. The students will read and discuss chapters 9 & 10 in their reading groups. The teacher will introduce guidelines for a group project.

Friday - The students will read an informational text and answer accompanying questions. The teacher will review text structures with students. The students will answer a sheet on text structures. The students will begin their compare/contrast essays.
