Please make sure your child is bringing their chapter book to class each day. They should always be reading a chapter book as we have "DEAR" time during restroom breaks.
We have been asked to remind you; parents if your child has any of the following, please keep them home for at least 24 hours after vomiting, diarrhea, or a fever. If all follow these guidelines, we should be able to decrease the spread of these ailments

Dec.1st-5th
Math: Conclude fractions; comparing fractions, and relating fractions to decimals-test Thursday
Writing: "Wrapping it up"-writing endings for compositions and writing with voice
Reading: "The Case of Pablo's Nose", genre-mystery, focus will be on reading ahead, reading strategies, and vocabulary. Reading logs are passed out on Tuesdays and due on Tuesdays of the following week.
Social Studies: Conclude unit on Native Americans- Students work in groups to make booklet on Native american tribe.
Science: switching w/ Mrs. Ryan (See schoolnotes for Mrs. Ryan)
Spelling: Lesson 14 (unusual plurals) Use 1/2 sheets to study. Spelling homework due on Thurs., Quiz on Fridays. Reminder; Keep all 1/2 sheets for review.
Fine Arts rotation; Creative Dramatics, Library, Art, P.E., Music, Technology, P.E.-(Clap my tiny paws)
