-Read aloud Me on the Map, students will create their own small books. This will begin our study of our place in the world.
-After learning the songs, Continents and Oceans, the students will know the names and placement of the worlds oceans and continents.
-Read aloud, Mapping Pennies World, students learn the shape of the continents by making a small book.
-Read aloud, We Dream of a World, students create their own page of a class book.
-Writers words, with ...went...when...said...more..way.
-L.D.C. this week, journal next week!
-Chinese New Year activities on Tuesday February 16th.
Math
-Activites involving measurement, subtraction, and attributes.
Information
-Please return heritage form included in brown folder.
-Kindergarten Round-up. Thursday February 11th we will have Pre-K visitors.
-Valentines Day Party. Please send valentines for each child Friday February 12th.
-February 26th is Go Texan Day. Students are encouraged to wear western wear. We will walk out to Stella Link to see a Trail ride pass by. Please send a sack lunch Friday the 26th.
