Activities
•Read Chicka Chicka, Boom Boom, make several fun activities with our names.
•Make and eat an ABC tree
•Everyday Mathematics starts this week. We will compare lengths, introduce pattern blocks, 1 to 1 counting and the concept of zero.
•We will begin journal this week but we will not need parent volunteers until next week.
Information
•Starting this week I will post all my newsletters on school notes. Please go to schoolnotes.com and enter Mark Twain’s zip code, 77025 and click on my name. Then click on notify me and each time my website is updated it will automatically notify you. I will also send a hard copy home in the Tuesday folders.
•“Me” doll is going home. See the red folder for the information. This project is due back by Tuesday, September 9th.
•I am sending home the sounds chart in Spanish along with a guide to help you review with your child at least once per day. If you have any questions about it please see me.
•Open House September 9th 6:00-7:00
Needed
I posted a note outside our door for items that are needed by this Friday morning.
Please check the board regularly for any updates. We need the following items for our class, if you can help please see me: hand sanitizer, baby wipes, paper towels, gallon size zip-lock bags, sandwich and snack size zip-lock bags.
I will also be putting together a list of other items that are needed for the class. Any and all donations are always accepted.

Actividades
•Leer Chica chica, bum bum, hacer varias actividades con los nombres.
•Hacer y comer un árbol de ABC
•Matemáticas de todos los días empieza esta semana. Estaremos comparando longitud, introducción de los bloques de patrones, contando 1 por 1, y el concepto de cero.
•Empezamos el diario esta semana pero no necesitamos los padres hasta la próxima semana.
Información
•Todas mis notas las pondré en mi sitio de la red en “school notes”. Solamente vaya a schoolnotes.com y imprime el codigo postal de Mark Twain, 77025 y luego busque mi nombre. Puede imprimir “Notify Me” para que siempre le avise cada vez que yo ponga algo nuevo. También mando una copia un la carpeta roja cada martes.
•Estoy mandando la muñeca de “mí”. Toda la información esta en la carpeta roja. Este proyecto se necesita entregar para el martes, 9 de septiembre.
•Estoy mandando la hoja de los sonidos iniciales. Por favor ayúdele a su hijo/hija revisarlo por lo menos una vez al día. Si tienen cualquier pregunta por favor hable con migo.
•Casa abierta será el 9 de septiembre 6:00-7:00
Necesitamos
Coloque una nota con algunas cosas que necesitamos para este viernes.
Por favor revise el tablero afuera del salón regularmente para ver que hay de nuevo. Necesitamos las cosas que siguen, si puede ayudar por favor hable con migo: toallitas de bebé, sanitario para las manos, las bolsas de “zip-lock” de un galón, de sándwich y de bocadillo.
También estaré haciendo una lista de otras cosas que necesitamos en la clase. Cualquier y todas las donaciones son apreciadas.
