We started our 5th unit of inquiry last week. The title of this unit is Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. The students will learn that weather patterns affect the environment and people's lives. It is an inquiry into: *the different types of weather *how weather works *weather affects people's lives during this unit, students will keep a weather journal. They will learn vocabulary relating to types of weather and instruments used to measure the weather. They will learn about different types of weather and natural disasters. They will also describe and illustrate the steps of the water cycle
