Welcome to 7th grade Social Studies at Powell Middle School! This should be an exciting year. We will be working on completing 2 standards and 3 benchmarks.
I will also be teaching one Guided Reading/SSR class this year. The focus of this class will be to improve students' reading skills.
The curriculum this year will vary greatly! We will be focusing on the geography of the different countries around the world and their cultures.

On Wedesday, May 14, the 7th grade students will be participating in the Wyoming Sports Festival. This will take place in the morning so any student that has social studies in the morning will miss class on that day. Their lessons will be altered slightly, but shouldn't be too far behind!
