35mm PHOTOGRAPHY
Lighting
Students will use a single studio light and the sun as natural light to show the four main light directions. By changing where the light hits the subject the students will see how the lighting changes the look and mood of the subject.
Shoot in Studio:
Front Light -- Harsh & Diffused
45 Degree -- Harsh & Diffused
90 Degree -- Harsh & Reflected
Backlight -- meter off of subject's face while in subject's shadow
Silhouette -- meter towards light source, then get into subject's shadow
