     Science:
We are studying Life Cycles, Current Events and Nutrition.   This is the unit we get to dissect frogs and investigate how all the systems of the body work together.  It is always a wonderful experience for even the most shy.

Math:
Students should be able to complete a mixed division sheet with one hundred facts in 3-5 minutes with a minimum of 80% accuracy by April 29.  We are working on long division of three digit numbers, fractions, probability, problem solving using tables, patterns and data analysis.

We hope you will  expect quality work from your son/daughter.  Quality work is never an accident;  it is always the result of high intention, sincere effort, intelligent direction, and skillful execution;  it represents the wise choice of many alternatives.  When they take pride in what they do...they always due more than they need to.

Thanks for all you do to encourage your student to do his/her personal best.

EXTRA  CREDIT  IS  AVAILABLE!  Please have your student check with me before beginning their project.   It is so important for you to encourage your student to complete extended assignments like these.  They teach patience and give the student an opportunity to feel the pride that comes with one's personal best.

Please try to schedule appointments before and after school.  Take advantage of the early release days.  It is very important that your student be in attendance.

Talk to your child.  Listen.  What can you do to encourage good organizational skills and good manners in your child?  How often do you read to your child?

If you have any questions or would like to share your e mail address with me, I can be reached at sanderson@ccsd.k12.wy.us. You can  also leave a voice mail at 686-1778 ext 202 or write me a note in your child's planner.

                                                     Your partner in education,
                                                       Mrs. Anderson
