The kids did a great job on our trip to Jewel Cave and Crazy Horse Monument. They were attentive and well-behaved and we got many compliiemnts on them. Hopefully they learned something about cave formation and Crazy Horse as well as having a good time. Thanks to all of the parents who joined us for the day.
Students will be working on a new project in math about their favorite number. They will be creating a poster which gives all sort of interesting information about their number and will be sharing it with the class. We are continuing our study of geology. With Presidential elections in November this is a great time to discuss our form of governent and how lucky we are to live in the US. Accelerated Reading goals for October have begun and students are encouraged to read 30 pages each week to reach our classroom reading goal.
As always, stop in and see how we are doing, we love having visitors!
