Hello and welcome to 6th Grade Science.  I am looking forward a positive school year, learning and teaching, and seeing students grow in their skills and understanding of the world.

Class Expectations

Be Safe, Be Respectful, Be Responsible

Come to Class on Time. 

Be Kind and Respectful to Others.

Be Prepared and Ready to Learn.       

•         Keep hands/feet to self

•         Keep legs of chair on floor

•         Use materials safely

•         Use kind words

•         Follow directions immediately

•         Respect others’ belongings

•         Keep a positive attitude

•         Take care of school property

•         Be there, be ready, and be a learner

•         Complete assignments thoroughly and on time

How Do I Start Class?

Quietly Come in and Sit Down.

Write Assignment Down in Planner.

Hand in or Get Assignment Out for Grading.

Follow directions on screen or board.

Class Procedures

Stay in your seat unless you have permission to get up.

Raise your hand to get permission.

Work in class on assignments.

Pay Attention.

Fire Drill

Line Up in Single File At the Door Quietly.

File out the door and turn right.

Go Down the Stairs to the Ground Floor, out the door and across the court.

Stand in a straight line facing away from the building.

Discipline

If you are not following procedures or directions you are disrupting the class. 

You will be asked to stop what you are doing.

If you continue, you may get a time-out, a phone call to parents, lunch or after school detention, or end up in the office.

Supplies

One Subject Notebook

Science Pocket Folder in Trapper Keeper

Pencil to write with

Pen to correct paper

Homework Policy

Needs to be Turned when Due.

Work Turned in Late will receive a Late Grade.

If you are Sick, You Must Make-up the work you missed As Soon As Possible
