Hola estudiantes y padres!
Bienvenidos a la clase de espanol!
Students should have regular Spanish work to be completed at home or school. All assignements can be found on the calendar to the right of this message. Simply click on the month, then the date, click on the level of Spanish your student is enrolled and the assignment will appear. The assignment posted is due the following day at the beginning of class. If a student is absent he/she must make their assignments. A student's daily attendance and participation is very important to successfully learning a foreign language. If a student wants to earn a good grade, encourage them to be in attendance and active in class.

SPANISH CLUB
The Spanish club students are in the process of fundraising for their trip to New York City. This trip will take place in the beginning of June. We will be joining the Art Club, Drama Club and Music Department, visiting the Art Museum, and a broadway show. The cost of the trip is $1500.00, which covers hotel, most meals, and all entrance fees, but doesn't cover spending money. Please contact myself, Bonnie Klasinski or Spencer Clark for more details. We will also be taking a trip to Denver for the Cinco de Mayo celebration in May. All students in Spanish Club are invited to attend. The cost is minimal as students can earn their way by working concessions for the basketball season.
Spanish Club and Art Club will be traveling to Denver for the Cinco de mayo festival on May 2nd -4th. We will be visiting the Art Museum, the cinco de mayo festival, Denver Museum of Nature and Science, IMAX Theatre and Elitch Gardens. All students may earn money through fundraising opportunities throughout the year. The cost is $175 which includes: room for two nights, entrance fees into all events, breakfasts, and dinners. Students will need a little extra money for lunches. This has been a wonderful cultural excursion in the past and we look forward to going again this year. Please contact Valerie Brutlag or Bonnie Klasinski for more information.
