Assignments can be found by checking your Power School account.  I update assignments in Power School on a regular basis, and they are posted for the day they are due. 

        All assignments are due at the start of class. If not done or prepared for class, the work is late.

Math:  We are learning about the coordinate plane and integer operations.   

5/12:  This week we are covering graphing with the coordinate plane and adding/subtracting integers. 

        Daily HW is marked in Power School as turned in with a check mark.  Once a week a HW grade worth 10 points will be given.

        Students should expect a Quiz or Test every Thursday.  Weekly quizzes give me feedback on student learning and also let the students know how they are doing.

Science:   We are studying the structure of Earth and it's atmosphere.

5/12:  We are learning about Earth's physical layers and simulating the rock cycle in lab.

Reading:  We are reading Farewell to Manzanar for our class novel.

5/12:  This week we are reading Ch 12-14.   

Students are expected to bring an independent reading book to class every day.
