It was a pleasure to see the parents of former students, as well as meet our new parents at Back-to-School Night. This week we were getting to know each other.
All students will need a notebook of some sort, preferably lined. I collect this notebook every 2 weeks, so it needs to be separate from other notebooks.
Students have picked a factoid about San Francisco which they will verify with a valid source. We will share out on Monday and Tuesday.
Please have class guidelines or syllabi completed by Mon 8/29, if possible.

8/29/11--9/2/11 7th Grade Social Studies & Exploratory
This week students complete their personal shields symbolizing their strengths. We will present them later in the week. Now that students have lockers, I will pass out textbooks and workbooks that accompany the text-- though we won't have assigned reading for about a week. We will be taking notes on Weds. and Thursday on accomplishments of the Roman Empire.
The Spanish Exploratory Class meets every other day--A days will be the 7th graders and B days will be the 6th graders.
