Welcome to all new 6th grade students.  My name is Mr. Peters and Social Studies is the subject I am teaching this year. We will be studying World Geography through the five themes of location, place, human/environment interaction, movement, and region. We will become excellent cartographers in the process.  Cartography is the art of creating maps.  After sharpening our skills needed to study geography, we will examine our own area, the United States and Canada. So, sharpen your pencils and uncap your markers and prepare to begin.
