My name is Dahlia Ruffin. I was born and raised in Quincy, Washington. After graduating from high school, I attended Seattle University. After graduating, I returned to the Quincy area and began working at the Grant County Prosecuting Attorney's Office for about nine years. After some soul searching, I returned to college to pursue a teaching certificate. Since that time, I have been teaching for four years. I began teaching at Hiawatha Elementary as an English Language Learners specialist and have since moved to a second grade position. I am married and have two step-sons and have a 10 month old baby girl. I enjoy scrapbooking, reading and spending time with my family. I am in the midst of working on obtaining my master's degree with focus on integrating technology into the classroom.
