Entry materials/data that have been tampered with or altered are void. In the event this contest is compromised or becomes technically corrupted in any way, electronically or otherwise, the contest administrator reserves the right to terminate the contest.

Winners will be notified by email or telephone. In the event that said notification is returned as undeliverable, the contest administrator may attempt to re-send said email up to three times. If the potential winner does not respond to said email within 14 business days of its transmission, or should the email, after three attempts, be returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner may be selected. If a prize is returned to the contest administrator (or its designated agent) as undeliverable, the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes will be awarded directly to the winner, or, if an adult entered on behalf of a minor, in the name of the winner's parent or guardian, who must claim the prize on winner's behalf. Prizes will be awarded within approximately 30 days of the drawing. No substitutions or cash alternates for the prizes except as offered by the contest administrator, who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if advertised prize is unavailable. Prizes are not transferable. All taxes on prizes and incidental expenses not mentioned herein are the responsibility of the winners. Copernicus reserves the right to post winners' school, first names and first initial of last names, home towns, and home states on the Copernicus Community Web site.
