work schedules and time constraints, it is crucial that businesses, community and religious
organizations, and especially families and schools support parent and employee involvement in
education. To encourage such support, the U.S. Department of Education administers the
Partnership and offers resources, ideas, funding, and conferences relevant to family involvement in education.
