Parents,
As we begin the second trimester, encourage your child to be reading every day for at least 15 minutes.
Talk with them about the day at school and what they are working on.
Ask questions. have them tell you about all the new things they are learning and experiencing as a fifth grader.
I am working with them on being responsible for their work and actions.
